Journeys, both within and outside of Canada have always informed my art practice. I was born in Guyana, grew up in England, Cyprus and Canada, and have spent long periods of time traveling in Africa, South-East Asia, Europe and North America.  Though the effect of experiencing various cultures is familiar to me, understanding this cycle of change and displacement remains an ongoing process.
